I come from a design/motion design background, but with a strong sense of compositing. Earlier in my career I did all of my compositing in After Effects, and it was fine. Fine being the key word there. There are tons of workarounds and hacks that I frankly just became accustomed to. Someone suggested learning Nuke. Once I finally wrapped my brain around Nuke, I absolutely fell in love with this way of working and the software in general. It is hands down the best tool for compositing live action, cg and combination of both. You can be a technical or creative compositor. I will say the minute I started using Nuke, I became a faster and more efficient compositor, on top of producing higher caliber imagery.

My mission is to help more and more people use Nuke from Design Studio backgrounds looking to composite their cg stylistically or realistically.
